What is Crossfit Beacon?
Crossfit Beacon is many things to many people. A community. A playground. A place to challenge and be challenged. Our most recent membership survey indicated 98% of our members are actively telling friends about Beacon (or are making plans to do so), defining another one of our core values: sharing. Getting Fit and Having Fun – 7 Days a Week
We understand what it is like to have a busy schedule and how important it is to be able to workout when it works for you. Beacon has the most classes in Portland--for more types of interests--offered per day: the daily workout of the day (WOD); specialty classes for endurance, gymnastics, olympic lifting, Masters, and adaptive athletes; clinics; an active and reserve military program; and daily open gym. For kids, we have Teen Speed School Monday through Friday after school. We are the only box in Portland to offer classes 7 days a week, so you get to pick the days that work best--always staffed with experienced coaches ready to help you reach your goals.
Free Crossfit classes every Saturday at 9:30 am
Join us Saturdays from 9:30 am - 10:30 am for a free class where you will get to meet our coaches, see our facilities, meet new people, and try Crossfit out for yourself. We will be working many of the same movements that we do in the regular classes (squatting, jumping, kettlebells)--improving your functional movement, core strength, and conditioning, but you can participate with no prior experience. All ages and abilities are welcome. Come this week. Come every week! There is no limit to the number of times you can join us.
